Marmot Basin

Located in the breathtaking, vast and ruggedly mountainous landscape of Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Marmot Basin is a ski destination that inspires lasting memories. The national park boasts deep valleys that are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, waterfalls and lakes frozen in time, carpets of thick, green forests blanketing the earth and the serene beauty of the snowcapped peaks carries on as far as the eye can see. One of these peaks is host to the 1,675 acres of superb slopes that make up Marmot Basin. Only 20 minutes from the town of Jasper, Marmot Basin offers 3,000 vertical feet of superb skiing and snowboarding.

Rabbit Hill

Rabbit Hill has been a popular spot for skiers and boarders for the past 50 years. Our award winning Snow School offers programs for all ages and abilities. Rabbit Hill's success has been due to focusing on friendly service and affordable family fun. Located just 20 minutes from Edmonton, Rabbit Hill makes winter fun affordable.

Castle Mountain

A rustic and comfortable full service day lodge offers great food and a place to warm up between runs. You can gear up at the pro and rental shop and pick up almost anything you might have forgotten. Barnaby's is the place to be for après ski for a warm fire and some great Alberta beef.

For those guests who choose not to hit the slopes, our resort is a great place to be. Kids can ditch their parents in our Child Care and hook up later on for our famous thin-crust pizza at the T-Bar. Others who are here for just the breathtaking scenery can take a stroll along the Castle River or pick up some speed on our miles of cross-country trails.

Whatever your reasons for coming to Castle, there's something here for you to take in and enjoy. All are welcome at our resort.

Lake Louise

Spectacular scenery awaits at Lake Louise with uniquely beautiful terrain that is both vast and varied. The wilderness is pristine and inspirational. Located in the heart of majestic, historic Banff National Park, Lake Louise is truly legendary and offers world class terrain.

With 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise is one of the largest ski areas in North America. The unique layout allows families and groups of varying abilities to ski together; there are beginner, intermediate and expert runs down from every chair. Beginners and intermediate skiers have access to an abundance of gentle slopes and long cruising runs. Experts can explore endless chutes, glades, gullies and remote bowls in some of the Rockies' most challenging terrain.

Kicking Horse

Each year at Kicking Horse we are lucky enough to receive on average more than 7 meters (23 feet) of some of the lightest, driest and deepest powder snow on the planet. The majestic mountains surrounding us, and our phenomenal snow pack, are the reasons why our area has such historic mountain culture. It's also why we are surrounded by the highest concentration of beautiful back-country lodges, off piste skiing, and mechanized ski operations (both cat and heli) in all of Canada.

Sunshine Village

Sunshine Village is big in every way. The resort features 12 different lifts including 8 super lifts, a high speed gondola, 3 different mountains to explore, and the novel opportunity to ski or ride in both the province of Alberta and British Columbia on the same run. With over 30 feet of Canada's Best Snow dumped annually at Sunshine Village, skiers and riders always have an opportunity to enjoy fresh powder.

Uncrowded slopes, Abundant snowfall, Mountain towns alive with spirit - all within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Sunshine Village is renowned for its lengthy season from mid-November until late May.
